Biography:

Benjamin "Ben" Grimm, also known as the Thing, is a founding member of Marvel Comics' superhero team, the Fantastic Four. His origin lies in a fateful cosmic ray bombardment during an unauthorized space flight.

Originally a skilled pilot and college football star, Ben piloted the experimental rocket designed by Reed Richards. The radiation transformed him into a monstrous, rock-like being with superhuman strength, stamina, and durability.

The Thing's exterior is composed of a dense, orange, rocky hide. He possesses immense physical prowess, capable of lifting enormous weights and withstanding extreme temperatures and pressures. While initially distraught by his permanent transformation, he eventually embraced his role as a hero.

Despite his fearsome appearance, Ben possesses a gruff but loyal personality. He is known for his trademark catchphrase, "It's clobberin' time!" He forms a strong, brotherly bond with his teammates, often providing a grounded perspective to Reed Richards' scientific pursuits and Johnny Storm's impetuousness.
